Summer Session Dates

You will be contacted via your zagmail (assigned Gonzaga email address) to register for an orientation session the day after you commit to Gonzaga (pay your fall 2024 deposit).

 
Only the best people you will ever meet! During Orientation, you will be assigned to a Small Group, led by upper-class Zags who are our Orientation Leaders. They have been trained to ensure that you will have a successful transition into college life. You'll meet with your Small Group throughout your orientation session, and they're a great resource to learn the ins and outs of GU.
 
Yes. We welcome families to an orientation experience that runs parallel to Welcome Weekend (August 23rd - 25th, 2024). For more information and Registration, please visit the  Parent & Family Orientation website.
 
Watch your ZagMail in early June for an email inviting you to select the building, room and roommate you would like to live with for the academic year from space available at that time. Students who do not select their housing assignment will be assigned a building, room and roommate by the Housing Office. For more information visit www.gonzaga.edu/movein
 
Your first-semester course schedule will be constructed for you by Academic Advising and Assistance, based on the information you provide in the Academic Interest Survey, as well as your academic profile and history. To learn more, please visit gonzaga.edu/froshregistration. For all subsequent semesters, you will register for courses on your own, through Zagweb.
 

Yes, perhaps. Your schedule will not be finalized until August and you will receive an email from the Academic Advising and Assistance Office once it is complete. Visit Academic Advising & Assistance for more information about schedule changes.
