The Horace and Susie Revels Cayton Scholarship ($4,000 award)
Recognizes an outstanding sophomore or junior from a systemically underrepresented racial/ethnic background who is studying PR/communications at a Washington college or university. See criteria and qualifications here.
For both scholarships, students are asked to provide:
- Brief statements about their career goals and how a scholarship can help them achieve those goals.
- Information about, and samples from, their experience with communications work.
- A letter of recommendation.
- A transcript showing all post-high school courses, grades, and cumulative GPA.
How to apply:
Applications are now being accepted for both scholarships at prsapugetsound.org/scholarships. The deadline for applications is June 3, 2024.
